Sugar HI Run

Benefiting Florida Diabetes Camp
On April 18th, the TrialNet team from UF will be testing eligible relatives of people with type 1 diabetes at the upcoming Sugar HI Run in Ocala, FL.
This simple blood draw identifies relatives with autoantibodies and allows them an opportunity to participate in a type 1 diabetes prevention trial or ongoing close monitoring.
Anyone between the ages of 1 and 45 with a sibling, child, or parent with type 1 diabetes or anyone between the ages of 1 and 20 with a cousin, niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, grandparent, or half sibling with type 1 diabetes may get tested at no charge.
The 2nd Annual Sugar HI Run will be held on April 18th, 2015 at Greenway Park, Baseline Road Trailhead in Ocala. There will be a Disney Dash for the younger runners, a 10K run, along with the 5K walk/run this year!
Florida Camp for Children and Youth with Diabetes is celebrating their 25th year at Camp Winona and over 40 years of service to !
